CTSI Mining Reserve!

And so my dear reader, I want to share with you one very wonderful project, called Cartesi, and specifically Cartesi Mining Reserve. December 28, 2020 was announced Cartesi Mining Reserve.

This now allows current and aspiring CTSI token holders to run Cartesi’s reference software and be rewarded for their participation by staking CTSI. Users will have to run their own node to participate in the network immediately, however we built out convenient solutions such as deploying a node on Heroku, a cloud app provider, in a few clicks. How to do this in more detail can be found here

Everyone who wants to participate in the development of the network now has the following options:

  • Launch Cartesi node and receive rewards in CTSI tokens
  • Stake through custodian partners to be announced later
  • - Participate in the launch of the network that will evolve into Noether

Current and novice CTSI holders can place CTSI bets through future custodian betting partners or by launching their own node and hiring it to operate through the new Cartesi Explorer

Cartesi Explorer will immediately allow everyone to see what is happening on the network, take part in it and evaluate the rewards they will receive. In 2021, Cartesi Explorer will also provide users with the ability to delegate their bets and monitor in detail the status of Noethers and Descartes nodes, including transactions and dispute resolution. The CTSI Reserve Mining reward comes from the mining reserve. Cartesi takes Ethereum smart contracts to the next level. Revolutionize your code and solve scalability issues.

Cartesi create an operating system for applications. The project allows you to perform complex and intensive computations in the Linux environment, outside the blockchain, without compromising decentralization. Cartesi strives to make dApps significantly more powerful, cost effective, easier to develop, and portable.

Features:
— Cartesi is a Layer 2 infrastructure that aims to enable complex and computationally intensive Linux environments to run off-chain without compromising decentralization.

— Developers can work in a familiar environment without artificial restrictions and with access to their favorite tools.

— dApps can temporarily store data in the Cartesi sidechain, which is determined by the proof matching algorithm, without the need to constantly communicate with the Tier 1 blockchain.

Opportunities
— Scalability. Intensive computing for huge amounts of data is done off-chain with the same security guarantees offered by the blockchain;

— Programmability: dApp logic runs under Linux, with the ability to select and compare thousands of open source software components

— Ease of adoption: Developers can work in a familiar environment without artificial restrictions and with access to all of their favorite tools.

— Decentralization: Building consensus on the network is secure, without the need for a reputation protocol, Trusted Execution Environment, or central servers in the cloud.

— Portability: Cartesi strives to make dApps portable across the most important public blockchains that support smart contracts.

— Privacy: dApp states can remain private among application contributors.
